We offer free beginner-level Norwegian language courses for Ukrainian refugees who are not entitled to publicly funded Norwegian language instruction. The course is made possible through funding from IMDi, Agder Fylkeskommunene, and the Norwegian Directorate of Health.
Following the school calendar we have a language café every Tuesday from 14:00 – 15:00. You find us at the Arendal Adult Learning Centre (Kystveien 2, 4841 Arendal – 2nd floor).
Through simple conversations, board games and other activities, everyone gets the opportunity to practice Norwegian. The volunteers ensure that the participant always learns something new.
The language café is open to everyone.
Get in touch or drop by if you would like to join as a participant or volunteer.
In cooperation with the helsestasjon clinic in Arendal, Caritas Arendal is organizing an ICDP course (International Child Development Programme) in Polish.
ICDP is a course for parents with children aged 0–18 years.
The aim of the programme is to prevent psychosocial difficulties among children and young people by supporting and strengthening parents and other caregivers in their caregiving role. The course is group-based and free of charge.
In the course you will learn how to write a CV and job application that presents you in a professional manner. You will get useful tips and tricks about the application process in Norway.
After the course, you will have a completed CV and what you need to write an application.
The course is free and will be held if needed.
